oh, excuse me, I forgot to add the synonyms for track "chanson, chant, hymn, number, *song*"

All songs are tracks, but not all tracks are songs. Understandable?
Mudkipzlolwut (December 21st, 2008 @ 2:56 pm)
something tells me you're the incapable dictionary man here, not me. "track" c. an individual song or segment of a recording now we know track is synonymous with song. to further prove my point, I went to a synonym finder and typed in song. air, ballad, carol, chanson, chant, chorus, ditty, hymn, jingle, lay, melody, number, poem, strain, *track*, tune

If you have ever used a dictionary before, you'd know that definitions are split by meaning. 1. Music refers to what a song is in musical context. 2 addresses animals "song".
Mudkipzlolwut (December 20th, 2008 @ 7:10 pm)
you're taking the definition of "song" too far. read number one. "1. Music" there you go, case closed. this is a song.
