don't get me wrong i own and listen to talib kwali, mos def, black twang, nas, roots manuva albums. as for PE. i've lost all respect since the more recent stuff. and what the fuck was flave doing on a reality tv proggrame. what happened to chuck doing burn holywood burn. all i.m saying is rappers used to have personalities and individuality regardless of the pay check. i'm talking about the fun of biz, the coolness of big daddy kane and the gangster of ice T.

Hold up. Listen to the lyrics on any of Nas's tracks. The guy has more metaphores than anyone out today... Mos Def, Talib Kwali, PE (Yeah they are still around) and other less mainstream rapper. Dont get me wrong I agree to an extent, you have "Emcee's" like Flo Rida, Lil Wayne and Soulja Boy who dont deserve any air time what so ever, but there are still Emcee's that can lay it down.
